Density
Based on latest available data, the population of Sta. Lucia is reported at 7,657 in 2015 with a land area of 31.0635 hectares. By dividing the population size by its land area, population density is computed at 244 people per hectare. Based on 2015 figure above, the barangay is not densely populated. However, this statement can be made more conclusive if only recent data (later than year 2015) on population size were available to the researchers.
Dispersion
As we went around this predominantly residential barangay, the houses and settlement areas (including sighted squatters) are spaced tightly to one another. The observation is likewise consistent with the representation in Google maps.
