Advocacy Campaigns
Keeping in mind the driving question which is “How can I contribute to a strong, sustainable and safe San Juan City,” advocacy campaign proposals have been separately submitted in response to this.
These advocacy campaigns generally share the following common goals:
- To increase green spaces;
- To increase species diversity;
- To serve as a model for neighboring barangays to follow and adopt best practices as their own;
- To increase the sustainability of the environment;
- To have clean air for the people to breathe.
Results from the eventual implementation of these campaigns shall be measured against the above SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, timely) goals, and further steps shall be taken for monitoring and feedback.
Reflections
We hope that our reflections can motivate aspiring young people to join our cause. We expect travails along the way but we believe that each one of us owes the world a part for the sake of succeeding generations. While our reflections are deeply rooted on our Catholic learnings, the message is definitely universal, cutting across religions and cultures of all types.
